The Swedish studioNotepresents the youngest members of theTonellafamily, two poufs that join one ofSancal’smost distinguished sagas. In this new piece, the chubby upholstered seat is held aloft by a metallic cage support. Wine barrels inspired the original design, the staves of which are represented by the base’s vertical bars – a design accent that runs throughout the family’s armchair, sofa and lounge chair. The seat is plane and contrast against the outer area’s quilting, which follows the lines of the staves. The metal support is available in the following finishes: bronze or extra matte lacquers. Tonella’slatest addition offers a fresh option, not only as a foot rest, but also a stool in its own right, ideal for any corner or breakout area.
